Douglas Camp Meeting Association Five Year Plan
Year 1 (2009) Clougher house renovation completed and in use by the end of 2009. Accomplished.
Year 2 (2010) Tear down dining hall -Accomplished.
Erect dining hall building and complete build out-On-going throughout 2010
Clear brush, level ridge near bathrooms.-Done and on-going as gravel is needed on rest of grounds.
Year 3 (2011) Complete renovation of cabins and Morse Dorms for a youth program.
Year 4 (2012) Open an RV camping area with six sites.
Year 5 (2009-2012) Keep open and improve the tent camping areas (fees and rents to be determined). Work and maintenance to be done by CEF Work & Witness teams, DCMA, and local church volunteers. Funds to be provide by DCMA and CEF as agreed. Older pine trees to be thinned our where needed, and Lumber sold to help defray plan expenses. CEF use of Mores Dorms to be discussed. |
